Who we are

LETiQ is a trading name of LET IQ LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15928908). Registered office: 61 Albert Street, Rugby, CV21 2SN. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@letiq.co.uk.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiries. When you email us or book a discovery call, we collect your name, contact details and the content of your message so we can respond. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Journal sign up. If you subscribe to the Journal, we collect your email address to send you insight, updates and legislation changes. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Course bookings. When you book a place on a course, your booking, account and payment details are handled through our learning platform, LearnWorlds, and its payment provider. We receive the information needed to enrol and support you (name, contact details, employer where relevant, and course progress). Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Exam registration. To book your Propertymark exam we share necessary details (name, contact details, results where applicable) with Propertymark Qualifications. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make the business run: our learning platform (LearnWorlds), which also hosts our Journal sign up form, payment processing, and Propertymark Qualifications for exam registration and certification. If we later use a dedicated email provider to send the Journal, we will name it here. Each provider acts under its own privacy commitments and only receives what it needs.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Learner records are kept for the duration of the course and for six years afterwards, in line with standard business record keeping. Journal subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. There is no fee for making a request. To exercise any right, email hello@letiq.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
